for High School Students

Overview

As a high school student, you can get a head start on college classes through 91桃色鈥檚 Early听College program.

Area high school students with a flexible schedule can enroll in many of the General Education courses offered at 91桃色’s main Olathe campus. When you participate in the Early Enrollment program, you will earn dual credit: high school credit and college credit鈥攖he grade you earn in the Early College course appears on both your high school and college transcript.

You can get a head start on college coursework, completing your general education requirements needed for a bachelor’s degree at most universities. Early College gives you a head start on exploring a future career, and it also means that you can save time and money in the long run, as these classes are significantly discounted.
Support Services:
Students enrolled in the Early College program have access to 91桃色鈥檚 academic support services, including writing and math tutors in the听Academic Success听Center听as well as a full menu of online tutoring options.

Spending time taking even one Early College course will give you an idea of what听college life听is like at 91桃色.
Experienced Faculty:听
Classes in the Early College program are taught by some of 91桃色鈥檚 most notable professors. Our professors are known for bringing their own personal experience into the classroom. 91桃色 professors also care deeply about your own, personal success. They will know your name and are available to assist you throughout the duration of the course.听

91桃色 is an evangelical, Christian university sponsored by the Church of the Nazarene. Eligibility Requirements鈥�

In order to qualify for admission into 91桃色’s Early College program you must meet the following requirements:

Have a CGPA (cumulative grade point average) of 3.00 or higher based on a 4.00 scale in grades 9, 10 and 11.
Be at least 16 years old and completed your sophomore year of high school.
Be eligible to complete the requirements for graduation from high school no later than the spring of your senior year.
Once you鈥檝e applied, you will receive more information about our program as well as next steps for enrollment from an admission鈥檚 counselor.

Once the above requirements have been met you will also be required to submit documentation from your high school stating that you have been released from attendance.

Guidelines & Costs鈥�

Applications to the Early College program will be considered on an individual basis. You must submit an application for admission and be provisionally admitted to enroll.

Students accepted for Early College听can take a maximum of 12 credit hours each semester
Students accepted are not eligible to receive federal or institutional aid
Students will pay $110 per credit hour plus fees when registering for the class
